Membership

Becoming a member of the MHJA is a great opportunity to learn and engage as part of the hunter/jumper community in Manitoba.

We host shows from May to September and clinics throughout the year. Whether you are a professional trainer or attending your first show, as a member of the MHJA you will be part of a friendly organization where you can meet riders, coaches and officials who share your passion for the sport and can help you achieve your goals.

With the exception of those who live more than one hour outside of the Winnipeg area, all members are required to complete 2-4 volunteer shifts as part of their membership. See volunteer page for more info.

For those opting not to volunteer, invoices for the volunteer deposit of $200 will be sent out May 1, 2024 with payment due upon receipt of invoice.

For those who are already members of MHJA - renewal notices will be sent out early December 2023.

For new members, memberships can be purchased starting early December 2023. Please see the "Join MHJA" tab, when it becomes available.

Memberships are due by May 1, 2024 after which a late fee of $25 will apply. To accrue year-end points, you must have purchased your membership in advance of your first show. This includes the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair
