Volunteer

Requirements

 

Junior/Senior memberships: 2 volunteer shifts

Family memberships: 3 volunteer shifts for 2 members; 4 shifts for 3 members.

Volunteer Deposits are refunded once the required hours have been fulfilled.  If the volunteer requirment is not met before the end of the year, the deposit will not be refunded.

Hours may be filled by family members/friends.

Please note;  If a volunteer cancels on a shift with less than 48 hours notice and no replacement person, the Volunteer deposit is now void.

 

For those opting not to volunteer, invoices for the volunteer deposit of $200 will be sent out May 1, 2024 with payment due upon receipt of invoice.  

**not all shifts you are interested in will be available.  They are filled on a first come, first served basis. **

At MHJA you have great opportunities to be a part of the success at shows and events throughout the year.  Volunteers are what help our organization run smoothly.  We have annual events that need your support.

 

Some of these responsibilities include:

  • Working the Hunter/ Jumper gate

  • Back up Jumper timer

  • Ring announcer for Hunter and/or Jumper ring

  • Ribbon Presentation 

  • Runner
